WHEN TO GO

Cape Town is generally warm and dry during summer months from November through March. The winter months from June through September are colder, so some activities may not be available, however many people visit Cape Town and the Winelands during this time of year since it’s a popular time for a safari in other parts of the country. Festive season from December to January is the most popular and likewise the most expensive time to visit the region.

GETTING THERE

Depending on where in the region you plan to go the Cape Winelands are a 30 to 90 minute drive from Cape Town.
