PLANNING YOUR TRIP

WHEN TO GO

The best time to visit Argentina is in the warm and dry summer, which is November – April in the Southern Hemisphere. This is when cities will be bursting with life, wineries will be in full bloom, and the glaciers of Patagonia are most accessible. Buenos Aires is beautiful year-round,  and Mendoza and wine country shine during harvest in September – November.

GETTING THERE

Buenos Aires is about 11 hours on a direct flight from NYC. Direct flights also fly from Miami and Atlanta. Argentina is a huge country with incredibly varied landscapes and experiences. While many popular destinations can be reached with domestic flights, you may find that some special off-the-beaten-path lodges are only accessible by long (but scenic) car rides.
